Background

OOO "Kamskiĭ cable" produces cable-transferring products on the largest site in Russia and the CIS "Kamkabel" in Perm. 9 production plants and supporting infrastructure.

5 laboratories of CPL, which provide complex testing of raw materials and products 104 ha - 20 ha area of the plant – are covered areas. The total number of employees exceeds 3000 people.

Since its inception up to the present time the plant "Kamkabel" is a leader in terms of production of power on voltage cables 0,6-220 kV, taking in some segments of the LPG market share of over 50%.

In terms of production and wires venture it confidently takes the first place among cable factories in Russia and CIS countries.
On present day "Kamskiĭ cable" – is the only plant in Russia, which produces a wide product range, more than 35 000 different sized.

The  upgrade of the equipment and developing the production of new details are regular. Annual investment in production capacity is about 1 billion rubles.

There are 6 branches in Russia. Dealers are in Tyumen, Odessa and Minsk. In 2012, an office in Kazakhstan opened.

Today "Kamskiĭ cable" – is the first in cable industry. The achievements of company for the period 2011-2013 are the following:
- Diploma of Laureate of "Company of the Year" according to RBC in the Volga Federal District;
- Repeated victory in regional and federal stages of all Russsian competition "100 best goods of Russia" in the category "Production and technical purpose";
- "Kamskiĭ cable" is the only among cable plants in the country in range "TOP-200 largest nonpublic companies in  Russia-2012" (according to the magazine Forbes);
- In 2013, the plant was among the five Russian companies  - members of the ICF – International federation of cable producers.

In 2013, the quality of the "Kama cable" was evaluated at the international level: the company"s products have been certified by KEMA independent organization.

"Kamsky cable" received certificates FGC UES and JSC "IDGC Holding" (part of "Rossetti") for the supply of cables with XLPE insulation to 10 kV, 110 kV and 220 kV.

Technological capacities allow to produce cables with XLPE insulation voltage of 110-220 kV with aluminum conductors and section 2500 mm2 copper conductor cross-section 1600 mm2.

Started process equipment, which allows to produce cables on drums 40 type, capacity up to 30 tons. And plans - putting into production of cables  with insulation XLPE 330 kV.
